Hi all,

We have a new trip to Kasulu coming up in December.   This should be interesting for us (Cathy is going with me!) because this will be the latest in any calendar year that we have visited our friends at Kasulu Bible College.   Most of our trips have ranged from being there in early April to early October.    We have done that as much to be there during sunnier and much cooler weather.   On this trip, I expect that we will see a bit of rain and mud.   But that means no “Mr. Dust”.    That will be a good thing!

At this point in time, I ask that you pray for us and our preparations for the trip.   We had hoped to install some new computer equipment including a new server at KBC this year, but circumstances are not making that possible.   For one, KBC needs a new charge controller for their solar power system.   The current unit has been damaged by a nearby lightning strike.   It going to be more important to replace the controller than concern ourselves with other equipment we had in mind for this trip.    Also, our plans to get a new server have been hampered by supply chain problems.   That along with a need for more funding to purchase a new server have brought me to the conclusion that this is just not what the Lord wants us to do this time around.   In fact, I’m a bit relieved that we can go and work on some simpler items as well as keep our hearts open to what He would show us while we are there.   I have the sense that there is something for us to learn or discover during this trip.  I want to remain open to that.   It’s important that we not force our agenda over the need to be available to the Lord’s purpose.

Thanks for stopping by the site.   I hope you’ll keep an eye on the site as we prepare for our trip and during our visit there next month.

Blessings to you all in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
